The 304-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 continues to be a no-cost option for 2014 and features slightly better fuel economy at 18 city/28 highway for front-wheel-drive models (up by 1 mpg in the city) and 17/26 for all-wheel-drive models, where highway economy improves by 1 mpg. The eAssist mild-hybrid system remains the same with a promised 36-mpg highway rating. The new LaCrosse, as with all 2014 GM models, offers standard scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles as well as five years of OnStar RemoteLink Key Fob capability that lets the driver lock, unlock, and start the vehicle from a compatible smartphone.
