Ford Says New 2013 F-series Super Duty Model Coming Next Week

Ford has released the above image of a cloaked new F-series Super Duty model for 2013, and announced it would reveal the mystery truck on March 9. No information accompanied the above image, so we're going to speculate the truck will be a plug-in extended-range hybrid with four 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinders generating electricity for a 35-kWh battery pack. The pack, in turn, will juice four in-hub electric motors. While anything's possible, we expect that rather than our hypothetical F-050 Energi, the rig most likely is a new range-topping luxury trim. Ram recently introduced the über-luxurious 2012 Laramie Limited, so we wouldn't be surprised if Ford has created a new model to sit above the Super Duty King Ranch.
