Best Selling Cars Around The Globe: Georgia Has Forgotten About Russia

Over the past few of weeks we have travelled to Israel, Belarus, Eritrea and Chile. Since last week you decide which country we go to next and today we make a stop to Georgia, the country, not the US State. Why? Because SexCpotatoes (cool nick!) asked for it. Georgian consumers have been very fast to shed their Soviet past: there are virtually no Ladas anymore in the streets of the capital city Tbilisi… (no, not a BMW!) Instead, chances are the Toyota Corolla is in the lead of the models ranking, making Georgia the only European country and one of 18 countries in the world where it is estimated to be in pole position. Other popular models in Georgia are the Hyundai ix35… Toyota Camry… Nissan Tiida… Toyota RAV4… and Mitsubishi Pajero. If you go to Georgia in the near future you will also notice a lot of second hand 1991 Opel Astras and various Mercedes in the streets. This speculation is based on the observation of recent YouTube videos of the streets of Tbilisi.
