We've acquired the latest version of Ford's official dealer order guide for the 2015 Mustang. As we already knew, three engines will be available—a V-6, an EcoBoost turbo four, and GT V-8—and those motors define the Mustang's three key trim levels. No further pricing information is available beyond a few previously revealed options and the sticker for the base V-6 car, but we're working our sources and expect to have that information in hand soon.
The EcoBoost four-cylinder and GT V-8 can be ordered as a coupe or convertible in either a base or a Premium spec (the V-6 is base only in either body style), while the 50 Years Edition (a.k.a. the 50th Anniversary Edition) is available only in V-8–powered GT guise. We've highlighted some notable takeaways below, but be sure to download the PDF below of the full order guide to build out the 2015 Mustang of your dreams.
- Standard equipment is generous, with HID headlights, 17-inch aluminum wheels, a six-speed manual, a limited-slip rear differential, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel all included for the $24,425 base price.
- The V-6 really is the base trim. There is no Premium option, and buyers won't be able to order Recaro seats (which are available on all EcoBoost and GT versions) or a Performance package. You can order the 3.55:1 rear end from the Performance pack as a standalone piece.
- Every GT gets a factory electronic line lock, launch control (with the manual), and larger brakes as standard.
- A 50 Years appearance package is available for Premium EcoBoost and GT cars models for those who miss out on one of the 1964 examples of the limited-edition—and fully loaded—50 Years GT model.
