Cars.com Reviews the 2014 Acura MDX

If it was gunning for second place among three-row luxury crossovers, the redesigned-for-2014 Acura MDX's aim is as good as silver. Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays says the MDX hasn't changed drastically in styling, but in a bid to improve family-friendliness, this more wagonlike incarnation has diminished the driving excitement. Still, the automaker also has diminished the weight, shedding 230 pounds and 300 pounds on the front-wheel- and all-wheel-drive versions, respectively. That has resulted in a hefty fuel-economy boost without sacrificing quickness in a slightly less-powerful 3.5-liter V-6.
