-Faraday Future has been quietly talking for months about making a new electric car, and not just a new electric car, but a whole new concept of how to sell cars. The mysterious company has plans for a $1 billion factory in Nevada and is well backed by Chinese investors, but nobody has seen anything that has to do with the car.
-But they may have just leaked it a little early by mistake.
Apparently Faraday has an iOS app that is supposed to be released at the same time as the car, but one intrepid Twitter user found that the app was released long before the it was supposed to, and inside it had details of the car. (The app has since been removed from the Apple App Store.)
-It sounds—and looks—like nothing we expected, and we already thought it might be insane.

Instead of an autonomous pod, we have a car that has "1000 horsepower quad-core drive," can get to 60 in less than 3 seconds, can top 200 mph, and has something called "customizable battery string technology." It also says that the cockpit provides a "paramount racing experience" no matter what mode you're in, driving it yourself or riding autonomously.

So, it's a funky Le Mans prototype-esque machine with 1000 horsepower that can also be some sort of autonomous pod with a tail fin that helps stability and also acts as a "digital canvas." Color us intrigued. We'll see the full product tonight at the Faraday Future press conference.
