Let's be honest, nobody buys the Toyota Corolla because it's the most stylish option available. Its reliability, comfort, quality and price tend to sway legions of loyal buyers, but Toyota is hoping an injection of style couldn't hurt and has released a new Special Edition appearance package model at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

The changes are limited to trim, seats, special paint colors and wheels, but the overall effect looks especially good on the Corolla, despite the odd ride height that makes the compact car look like it's been fitted with a lift kit. We've applauded Toyota for using color in the Corolla's interior, and the black seats with red contrast stitching on the Special Edition looks equally sporty and fresh.
Check out what the Special Edition includes for the Corolla below.
Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl or Super White paint
Gloss black 17-inch wheels
Black interior with red contrast stitching
Red dash, door and floormat trim
Push-button start
