2014 Subaru Forester: More Pictures

You may not notice it, but Subaru's compact crossover is redesigned for 2014. The exterior styling update to the popular Forester is subtle and conservative. There's a more sloping rear roofline, revised headlamp design, tweaked grille and unique wheels. The new Forester grew more than an inch taller and longer for 2014 on a wheelbase that's stretched 0.9 inches. Subaru says there's more room inside, along with additional soft-touch materials and a revised center stack design. A new 250-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter engine joins the previous model's 170-hp 2.5-liter. The Forester also will feature Subaru's new EyeSight system, which packages adaptive cruise control, collision braking, a lane departure warning system and more. It uses two cameras in the headliner on either side of the rearview mirror. We'll meet the Forester later this month at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show.
