GM Trademarks “Cadillac LTS”—Could be Used for Upcoming Rear-Drive Sedan

An LTS could join the ATS, CTS, and XTS sedans in Cadillac's lineup, with General Motors filing a trademark application for the name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office this month. While some companies, like Mercedes-Benz and Audi, trademark every permutation of letters and numbers that fit their naming conventions, General Motors is far more conservative—and that's especially true with Cadillac nomenclature.
