2013 Toyota Avalon Gets Hybrid Option

When Toyota unveiled its new Avalon at the New York auto show last April, it was quick to tell us two things about it: One, the design originated from the company's Calty design studio, splitting time between Newport Beach, California, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. And two, 90 percent of its parts will be sourced from the U.S., culminating in assembly in Georgetown, Kentucky. The Avalon, if you listen to Toyota, is America's sweetheart.
