2013 Audi A8 3.0T Priced from $73,095, $6500 Less than Outgoing 4.2

Audi is replacing the comparo-winning A8 4.2 with the A8 3.0T, which swaps the former's naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V-8 making 372 hp for the 333-hp version of the company's supercharged 3.0-liter V-6. Now pricing has surfaced for the six-pot model. Buyers of the entry-level A8 may have two fewer cylinders than before, but they'll also be paying a lot less—without any sacrifice in standard content. The new A8 3.0T will join the range-topping and hyper-pricey W-12 model in the lineup, and the blown six will be installed in both short- and long-wheelbase body styles.
