2013 Lexus RX Debuts With New “Alien Mouth” Design Language

In David Benioff's The 25th Hour (the novel, not the movie) Frank Slattery, the protagonists best friend, recalls a flashback in which is socially awkward friend asks if he thinks that female genitalia resembles "an alien mouth". That descriptor came to mind when viewing the newly-styled fascia of the 2013 Lexus RX. The L-Finesse design language is still in flux, but clearly the new front end works better on the 2013 GS than it does in these leaked shots of the 2013 RX. The leaks come courtesy of a scanned Japanese brochure, but the new RX will likely be revealed at April's New York Auto Show. All the more reason to save your money and buy a Toyota Highlander.
