2013 Acura RDX

Acura has announced pricing for the second-gen RDX, which debuted for real at the 2012 Chicago auto show. The more mature-looking RDX offers a new six-speed automatic transmission, a 3.5-liter V-6 with 33 more horsepower than the outgoing model's turbo four, and active dampers. It rides on a longer wheelbase and a wider track. The new prices and their relative increases are as follows:

  • RDX: $35,205 ($1425 increase over 2012)
  • RDW w/Technology package: $38,905 ($2025 increase over 2012)
  • RDX w/AWD: $36,605  ($825 increase over 2012)
  • RDX w/AWD and Technology package: $40,305  ($1425 increase over 2012)

The Technology package includes AcuraLink satellite communications and navigation with voice recognition, a surround-sound audio system, a 60-gig hard drive, dual-zone climate control, a power tailgate, and projector-beam headlights.

The 2013 RDX will be produced exclusively at Honda's plant in East Liberty, Ohio. It goes on sale early this spring.
