Ford has taken the wraps off of its “iosis” concept at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The new Ford Iosis Max Concept is a vision for a future compact C-car that will run on a new 4-cylinder EcoBoost.

The 1.6L 4-cylinder EcoBoost seen in the Lincoln Concept C also finds its way under the hood of the Iosis Max Concept. Good for 180-hp the new EcoBoost returns fuel-economy that is 20 percent better than the conventional gas engine.

Fuel-efficiency is further enhanced with Ford’s PowerShift transmission and its new Auto-Start-Stop system that is due for production in 2010.
