2015 Volkswagen Golf Variant / SportWagen: So Much Trunk for Your Junk

One of our favorite cars for the daily grind, the Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen, is on deck for replacement. We don't yet have confirmation what the new version will be called in the U.S., but we now have details and know what the car looks like. Launched at the Geneva auto show, this is the European-market Golf Variant. (Variant is what VW calls station wagons in German-speaking markets.) In our neck of the woods, it could be called Jetta SportWagen, Golf SportWagen, or simply SportWagen. Using Jetta branding wouldn't make much sense, though, as the Golf VII and Jetta VII don't even share a platform, as their predecessors did. READ MORE ››
