Refreshed 2013 Ram 1500 Starts at $23,585; New V6, Eight-Speed Auto Cost Extra

The 2013 Ram 1500 pickup truck has received a near-total redesign with a new engine and transmission, available air suspension system, and some significant changes to its body panels—you can read about all of the changes in our first drive—and now the company has released some pricing info for the rig. The 2013 1500 will start at $23,585 for a rear-drive, regular-cab Tradesman model equipped with a 310-hp, 4.7-liter V-8 and a six-speed automatic. Compared to last year's truck, the new 1500′s base price is slightly higher, and although the prices for most trim levels barely increase, Laramie-spec 1500s are slightly cheaper.
