Ford, cognizant of the calendar, is using a Valentine's Day–appropriate example of what 3D printing is capable of—tiny Mustangs made of chocolate!—to spice up the story of the minor role 3D-printed prototype parts played in the 2015 Mustang's development. Isn't that cute? There's only one problem that we can see: the little Mustangs don't exactly look like chocolate.

In fact, the candies look like any other raw 3D-printed product before polishing, which means they look fuzzy and a bit like plastic. While everyone knows Valentine's Day is the perfect time for romance, chocolates, and flowers, perhaps springing a couple of these Fords on the missus might not be the best course of action today. Instead, we think they'd make the perfect gift from any Mustang fan to their four-wheeled baby. Just don't stick the chocolate in the intake or up its tailpipes. Unless your Mustang's into that sort of thing.
