Rob Dyrdek seems to have a thing for Chevy Sonics, for this is now the second time he's used one to set a Guinness world record. This time, everyone's favorite Ridiculousness/Rob and and Big/skateboarding star chased the world record for longest backwards jump distance in a car. Last time, he kick-flip 360′d a Sonic, apparently a world first.

The setup for the backwards air-time stunt seemed nearly as basic and off-the-cuff as it was for the kick-flip Sonic barrel roll, and essentially it was just Dyrdek, a Sonic, and a pair of ramps. Dyrdek drove backwards at the ramp, hit it, and flew 89 feet, 3.25 inches, and the whole thing is over in a blink. That makes both for good YouTube watching—the video below is just 13 seconds long—and adds one more interesting thing to the Sonic's repertoire of "interesting things." The list now stands at, well, three things, including OK Go's use of a Sonic as a musical instrument. Actually, the list stands at four interesting things, if you count the fact that Dyrdek has driven one.
