Recall Alert: 2010 Toyota Prius and Lexus HS 250h

2010-toyota-prius
Toyota is recalling around 87,000 model-year 2010 Prius hatchbacks and Lexus HS 250h sedans to fix a braking issue. According to the automaker, the brake pressure accumulator could develop a crack due to fatigue or internal vibration, interfering with the car's braking ability. "Toyota has had no reports of any accidents or injuries associated with this condition," the automaker said in a statement.

Toyota will notify owners through the mail, and dealers will inspect and replace affected brake booster pump assemblies for free. Owners can call the Toyota Customer Experience at 800-331-4331 or the Lexus Customer Satisfaction line at 800-255-3987 for more information.
