It's a whale in the seas, a whale in the skies, and now the Beluga is a whale on the road. Or at least, it's a very big four-door Bentley. The Beluga Specification is a special edition of the Flying Spur sedan and it arrives this fall.
-Despite the implications of its name, the Beluga model is no larger than a standard Flying Spur, nor does it sport an echolocation organ on its hood. It is, however, outfitted with 20-inch "black and bright machined alloy" wheels, a gloss-black radiator grille, and a body-color bar bisecting the lower grille. Inside, there's more black trim, knurled-metal shift paddles, contrast stitching, along with deep-pile floor mats and trunk carpet with leather binding.

Combine the Beluga Specification with Bentley's optional Mulliner Driving Specification option, and you get the 21-inch six-spoke Extrovert wheels (pictured at the top) along with the usual Mulliner diamond-quilted leather upholstery, drilled-metal pedals, leather headliner, and knurled-metal gear lever.

The Beluga is only available on the Flying Spur V8, which is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter Audi-based engine making 500 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque. That gives this Beluga a top speed of 183 mph—making it faster than the ocean-dwelling beluga but slower than the one that flies.
