Know someone looking for work? Tesla posted 30 job openings for its under-construction Gigafactory east of Reno, Nev.
The openings come on the heels of the automaker hiring 12 employees in Q1 2015, Reno Gazette-Journal reports. The total salaries came to $314,000, carved from the investment of $80.6 million made to the $5-billion battery production plant in the same period.
The positions Tesla is seeking to fill — as noted on its career site — include those in facility management, engineering, management and technology. Though wages weren't disclosed on the aforementioned site, the newspaper notes Tesla's original application called for a wage range between $22.79/hour and $51.83/hour to start.
