Mad ’Maro: 45 of the Coolest Chevrolet Camaro Ads of All Time

More than five million Camaros have been sold over the better part of six decades, a feat to which Chevrolet can credit, at least in part, a generous marketing budget. With the sixth-gen car now in the public domain—you can read all about it here—we decided the time was right to gather some of our favorite Camaro print advertisements from throughout the car's history. From fashion to typefaces and photography to design, it's clear that many things beyond the Camaro have evolved significantly since 1967. Note that during the fourth and, especially, the fifth generations, General Motors focused a lot less on print advertising in favor of stuff like "Bumblebee" of Transformers fame, and so those cars aren't as well represented here. Also, vintage ads are way cooler. Now, to paraphrase REO Speedwagon, whose tunes surely have been cranked up in many a bitchin' Camaro: Get ready to scroll with the changes.
