Finding your McLaren 650S a little pedestrian? Too street-friendly, not long-tailed enough, not enough Le Mans-level downforce? Feast your eyes on the McLaren 675LT—or at least, a tiny little glimpse of its tail end, courtesy the British supercar maker's new teaser video.
While we don't know much about how the 675LT will look, McLaren is giving us some details on what the car will do. The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 from the 650S was heavily reworked for this job, featuring new turbos and a bespoke titanium, crossover exhaust. It cranks out a truly evil 666 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
The LT stands for "long tail," and McLaren claims the new, as-yet-unseen bodywork provides 40 percent more downforce. The hardtop-only supercar will stand in as a track-oriented alternative to the 650S Coupe and Spider, with the three models making up the McLaren Super Series, above the smaller, more affordable Sports Series announced last year.

Sounds like a winner to us. The lighter, longer, faster LT will debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March, alongside the track-only P1 GTR. We wait with baited breath.
