Jay Leno, Hollywood's patron saint of automotive enthusiasm, is coming back to TV in the best way possible: Next year, the former Tonight Show host will bring Jay Leno's Garage to CNBC. And we can't wait.
For years, Jay has welcomed car fans into his palatial car mecca—the "garage" in Jay Leno's Garage–with an Emmy award-winning video web series that spawned a one-hour TV special in August. Today in a press release, Jay said he'll bring that same wide-ranging gearhead theme to the CNBC series. "The show will be about anything that rolls, explodes, and makes noise," Leno said. "We hope to highlight the passion and the stories behind the men and women who made the automobile the greatest invention of the 20th century."
The comedian's 20-plus years behind the desk at The Tonight Show was okay, but this is a Leno show we'll stay up late to watch.
