A 14-year-old boy in Syracuse, Utah, swiped the keys to his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster on Saturday and went for a joyride.
When the grandfather reported the car stolen, police responded, and a chase ensued. The boy attempted to ditch the cops by cutting through an impossibly crowded park, sending kids scattering away from the car:
Bryan Rowsley watched this unfold, and when he saw the Veloster turn back toward the park, he took action and drove his Ram 2500 right into the Hyundai, bringing the chase to a stop:
Rowsley told local news he didn't want anyone to get hurt. The teen was taken to a juvenile detention facility. You can see all the local news coverage at Fox13.
