It's nice to start Monday with a spot of good news: Seven-time F1 champion driver Michael Schumacher, who suffered a head injury while skiing late last year, is reportedly out of his medically induced coma.
The news comes from Formula 1, which doesn't elaborate as to the driver's condition beyond noting he will be moved to a rehabilitation facility in Lausanne. The announcement stresses that Schumacher's "further rehabilitation will take place away from the public eye."
The recovery process will no doubt take place over many months—if not years—but we're glad to hear that Schumacher's condition has improved enough to communicate with his wife and children, according to the U.K.'s Telegraph.
