General Motors has just announced a recall of approximately 780,000 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 compact cars from the 2005-2007 model years. Early reports indicate that there have been six fatalities due to the problem that can lead the cars in question to lose power and deactivate airbags.
