The Chevrolet Spark EV offers all you'd expect from a short-range electric commuter car — including some of the drawbacks but also some pleasant surprises. Cars.com reviewer Aaron D. Bragman says the impressive 130 horsepower and 400 pounds-feet of torque from the subcompact's zero-emissions powertrain propel it briskly to highway speeds, while an EPA-estimated 82-mile range falls on the low end of what you may actually get. And while Spark EV drivers need not sacrifice interior comfort for 128-mpg-equivalent fuel economy, handling isn't what you'd call nimble. Read Bragman's review below.
