Feminist Blogger Adora Bull paid the price for her insensitive comments on the death of movie star and performance car enthusianst Paul Walker. The National Report is reporting that Ms. Bull has received numerous death threats and that her car was bashed by a group of men with baseball bats after her article "Top Five Reasons Why I Am Glad paul Walker Is Dead" hit the internet on December 3rd. According to Modern Women's Digest, Ms. Bull is currently in hiding and on suicide watch as a result of the ire her comments have drawn.

Outside of a couple of movies I have seen, I knew nothing about Paul Walker prior to the accident and now it seems I know too much. Reports of the accident have been all over the media recently, his movie star staus drawing attention to the culture of fast cars that originally brought him into the limlight and ultimately ended his life. Based on what I've read, he seems like a stand-up guy.

What is it about the internet that makes people feel like they can post hateful, hurtful crap in the aftermath of a horrific accident? While I cannot condone the threats and violence against Ms. Bull, I can certainly understand why people are upset at what she said. I can only assume that she created the article to draw attention to herself and the website for which she writes. Welln ow she has it in spades. Good luck with that.
