| Vehicles Affected: Approximately 270 model-year 2013 Honda Pilot SUVs (two- and all-wheel-drive models) and Odyssey minivans. The Problem: During manufacturing, the heat treatment process may not have been properly applied to engine components. This could cause a piston to suddenly fail, resulting in the engine stalling. The Fix: Dealers will replace the engine short block for free. What Owners Should Do: Honda will notify owners starting Sept. 16. Owners also can call Honda at 800-999-1009 for more information. from KickingTires http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/ | |||
