Recall Alert: 2003-2004 Honda Odyssey; 2003 Acura MDX

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 318,000 model-year 2003-2004 Honda Odyssey minivans and approximately 56,000 model-year 2003 Acura MDX crossovers.  The Problem: The supplemental restraint system (airbag system) could malfunction due to electrical interference. "Honda has received a small but increasing number of complaints in recent months of inadvertent airbag deployment in these vehicles," the automaker said in a statement. There have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to this issue, however. The Fix: Dealers will install an electrical noise filter adjacent to the SRS control unit for free. What Owners Should Do: Honda will notify owners starting in late October.
