Up For Sale: The First Production Aztek

0

Collectors love objects with a link to the darker parts of human history. Whether it is a page of Hitler's stationary or one of John Wayne Gacy's clown paintings, if something has a macabre connection, some people simply must have it. If you are one of those people, now is your chance to combine your car hobby with that "other" thing you do by purchasing one of the automotive industry's most infamous products.

A Texas car dealer is claiming to have the first production Pontiac Aztek (VIV number 3G7DA03E41S500001) for sale on their lot. The vehicle in question is black, with a black and gray cloth interior and the dealer's website lists the vehicle as having just 7,743 miles. Based on the photos, it looks to be in very nice condition and comes with plenty of original documentation, including paperwork from Barrett Jackson, to help substantiate the claim. The asking price is a reasonable (?) $16,999.

So, if you want to tell the world that you aren't afraid of odd looks and disapproving glares, but aren't into facial piercings, here's your chance.
