Aaron Robinson: Where Have All the Hobby Stores Gone?

In January, my pal Paul Grusche and I drove the 94 miles to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the Kalamazoo Thunderbirds R/C Club swap meet at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center. I'm only being specific because I like writing "Kalama­zoo." The large parking lot was jammed, and I was impressed until I learned that there was also a hunting show going on. It took us only 20 minutes to peruse the tables crammed with used radio-control buggies, boats, and airplanes, and I started to despair that I wasn't going to find what I had come for when, at last, I spotted it.
