Aimed at the Chinese market, the small sedan previews a potential low-cost alternative to the brand's upscale Focus. That's right, despite bringing back one of Ford's most widely recognized compact-car names—the badge previously has been used on a variety of small cars on multiple continents—the Escort isn't designed to replace the Focus.
