2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid: Subtract V-6, Add Supercharged Four and Electric Motor [2013 New York Auto Show]

When Nissan first outlined its next-generation, in-house hybrid system nearly two years ago, it promised that the setup would arrive sometime in 2013 to supplant a V-6 in a new hybrid vehicle. We had predicted that the company was talking about the inevitable hybrid version of the latest Altima sedan, but Nissan's first recipient of its new hybrid powertrain is, in fact, the new Pathfinder crossover.
