| What It Is: The wagon version of the Volkswagen Golf VII, and the Jetta SportWagen's successor. Based on an entirely redesigned and much lighter platform, this station wagon will combine a huge luggage compartment with the Golf's sophisticated chassis and efficient-yet-fun powertrains. It also will serve as the foundation for a crossover model called Alltrack, which we detailed here. That variation of the SportWagen will offer all-wheel drive, more ground clearance, different interior decor, and rugged-looking body-side cladding.
