2012NissanAltima

Nissan is recalling 13,919 Altima sedans due to bolts that weren't torqued properly during assembly, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. 2012- and 2013-model-year Altimas built between May 10 and July 26, 2012, could have the bolts become loose and fall out, leading to a loss of control. You can check to see when your car was built on a label affixed to the driver's side doorjamb.

Nissan will begin the recall on or around Oct. 29. For more info, owners can call Nissan at 800-647-7261 or NHTSA's vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236.
