2013 Nissan Sentra Priced, Starts at $16,770

Nissan has released pricing for the all-new 2013 Sentra. Although it is down on power with only 130 hp from its 1.8-liter four-cylinder, compared to the 140-hp 2.0 from the last gen, it seems Nissan is giving a discount on all the horses that you don't get. The new Sentra is available for $16,770, which is $440 less than the outgoing Sentra. It is over $1000 cheaper than both the Subaru Impreza and the Volkswagen Jetta, but only a Jefferson less than the Dodge Dart. Let's break this down. No standard features have been given on these trims yet. Nissan claims that the 2013 Sentra will get better gas mileage thanks to the new CVT transmission and a lower drag coefficient (.29 vs. last year's .34).
