LeMons Thunderhill Day One: BMW 5 Series Leads, Soccer Mom Minivan Dominating Class C

Thunderhill Raceway is known for extreme weather conditions, summer and winter, but the temperatures today stayed (barely) out of the triple-digit range. That meant that the number of overstressed engines dumping their innards on the tarmac was (very slightly) lower than expected. When the checkered flag ended Saturday's race session, we were looking at a very tight BMW-Mazda-Nissan battle at the top of the standings.
