As you can see in the video, it seems to work perfectly well. It's limited to about twenty miles per hour, but in the "30 Zones" of the not-so-distant future, it's perfectly competitive with traffic. The 20-mile range isn't great, but when you think of it as "across Manhattan and back, plus a lunch trip" it becomes more sensible. Pricing is projected at $4500, and while a good bicycle can be had for a third of that amount, the RYNO promises a sweat-free urban commute — at least when it's not July.
