Cars.com Supports National Child Passenger Safety Week

Car crashes are the No. 1 killer of children ages 1 to 12 years old, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The correct child-safety seat installed properly is a strong weapon against these statics.  Since it's National Child Passenger Safety Week (Sept. 17-23), we'd like to revisit the year's coverage on all things car seats. Our list of resources includes advice articles, videos and links about where to go for more information.  Children 12 and younger need to be properly restrained in a vehicle to survive a crash and minimize injuries. Saturday is National Car Seat Check Day, so there will be additional seat check locations throughout the country staffed by qualified firefighters, police officers and other trained volunteers.
