2014 Audi A3 Sportback: Two More Doors and a Passport to America—Probably [2012 Paris Auto Show]

The Audi A3 family is growing. After the launch of the three-door hatchback, Volkswagen's premium brand now is adding the five-door Sportback. To justify the "Sportback" moniker, Audi hasn't simply added two doors. While the front end remains unchanged, the five-door's wheelbase is 1.4 inches longer than is the three-door, the tailgate and rear bumper have been changed, and the taillights are exclusive to the Sportback.
