Chevrolet's been through a lot since it debuted the Trax mini-SUV concept at the 2007 New York auto show. The moniker has now resurfaced a full five years later, affixed to a mini-SUV based on the same Gamma II platform that underpins the Opel Mokka and the Buick Encore. Slated to be sold just about everywhere but the U.S., the Trax aims to capitalize on Chevrolet's SUV history without being as ginormous as most of its forebears.
