Honda says it is the world's first car maker to disclose the totals of all greenhouse gas emissions caused globally during production and use of its products. In the fiscal year that ended March 31, 225.06 million tons of greenhouse gases were produced while making, using, an even disposing of Honda products, including motorcycles, power products, and cars. During making of those products 4.2 million tons were created, or 1.9 percent of the total. By far the largest amount, 195.88 million tons, or 87 percent, are created while customers use  Honda cars and motorcycles.
