| In Europe, there is no default law-enforcement vehicle like Ford's Crown Victoria was for the U.S. throughout the past 20 years. But BMW will move a step closer to being the de facto manufacturer of police vehicles when it presents its updated range of special-service vehicles at the General Police Equipment Exhibition and Conference. Debuting will be a new X3 and a new 3-series wagon for police services; 7-series and X5 armored vehicles for security detail; an i3 concept for use in localized areas; and a number of motorcycles, including the R1200RT.
