|  At first blush, the Porsche 944 (and its Audi/VW-engined pseudo-predecessor, the 924) looks like an ideal candidate for 24 Hours of LeMons racing. You can find cosmetically challenged examples for scrap-metal prices in all regions of the country, you get respectable horsepower coupled with near-50/50 weight balance, and plenty of LeMons drivers have extensive 924/944 track experience.
