Kia's new flagship sedan is only a few weeks away from its debut in its home market. Here are some more detailed shots of the K9—built on the same rear-wheel-drive platform as the Hyundai Genesis—that give us a good look at the interior of the full-size sedan and one of its adaptive LED headlights. The new Korean car will be powered by a 296-hp, 3.3-liter V-6 with a 329-hp, 3.8-liter V-6 available as an option—both will be paired to an eight-speed auto. If and when the K9 does make it Stateside, we expect at least one of these engines to be brought to the U.S. along with a possible V-8. The company has yet to confirm the K9's future other than it will be hitting the Korean market in early May.
