Colorado LeMons Racers: B.F.E. GP Entry Deadline Is This Saturday!

The thin air and crazy elevation changes at Colorado's High Plains Raceway's road course make for some great racing action at the annual B.F.E. GP 24 Hours of LeMons. It's one of our favorite events of the LeMons season, but time is running out if you plan to enter!

Taking place a month before the Pike's Peak International Hill Climb, the B.F.E. GP field will feature many PPIHC teams (driving cars that cost a bit less than the ones they race up the mountain) and more Audis and Subarus than the rest of the season's LeMons events combined. There's still time to throw a cage into a Subaru 360 or DKW F102 and prep it for the B.F.E., but only if you get your application in before this Saturday!

Meanwhile, the entry deadline also looms ever closer for the Showroom-Schlock Shootout, held at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois. It's another challenging track, and one loaded with strong Index of Effluency contenders, so you Midwestern racers won't want to miss it. You will, however, miss it if you don't submit your team's application before Saturday, March 31.
