2013 Kia Sorento Gets Option Packages Shuffled, New Available Features for Base LX Model

2013 Kia Sorento

Today's exciting news flash: Kia has tweaked the Sorento's optional and available equipment for 2013, following last year's more comprehensive cosmetic and mechanical updates. Leather seating surfaces are now standard on Sorento EX trims, and a third-row seat (which increases seating from five to seven passengers) is now standard for the LX V-6 trim.

For 2013, the LX Convenience package now includes Kia's UVO voice-activated infotainment system in addition to a rearview camera, rear sonar, heated front seats, and fog lamps. Later in the model year, a new Convenience Plus package will add to this list an eight-way power driver's seat, leather steering wheel and shift knob, and a first aid kit.
